This manual is intended for For assembly of this Solar Address Rock you will need a flat head screw driver. 1. Remove the foam and plastic bag from the inner box of the address rock. 2. Use the flat head or minus screwdriver to un-screw the six (6) plastic screws that are embedded into the plastic cover located in the center of the address rock. 3. After removal of the six (6) plastic screws, use the flat head screwdriver to gently insert behind the plastic cover and pop open the plastic cover. 4. Once you remove the plastic cover, there are 5 numeric numbers on inner cover of the address rock, these are like black plastic pins. Just gently pull them off and place the number you desire for your own use. 5. Once you have finished the hand assembly of the address number, please gently place back the plastic cover into the frame of the address rock. 6. Next you would re-install those six (6) plastic screws back into the six mounting holes using the flat head or minus screwdriver. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERWIND THEM. 7. Once you have finished assembling the address rock, please allow 2 full days of charging your solar garden address rock for the best results of your solar address rock. 8. The solar address rock has an On/Off button on the bottom of the solar address rock. Once the solar address rock is fully charge by the sun, the solar address rock can last up to 8 hours on a full charge using the two (2) Ni-Cad rechargeable “AA” batteries (included). WARNING: Do not dispose of Ni-Cad batteries in the regular trash, municipal waste stream or by fire as batteries may leak or explode. Do not open, short circuit, or mutilate batteries as injury may occur. Preserve our environment by recycling Ni-Cad batteries or disposing of them in accordance with local, State and federal regulations. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries. Maintenance Clean the solar module regularly with a damp towel to guarantee optimum performance of the solar panel. Do not use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the module while cleaning. Trouble Shooting If your solar charged light does not come on at dusk despite observance of all the instructions, please try the following steps: A. Make sure that the solar light is not being affected by any other light source. B. Ensure the solar light is not positioned in the shade during the day. C. Make sure the on/off button is “press/click” position. D. Check that the batteries are installed correctly, you would need a Philip screwdriver to open the bottom of the battery panel. NOTE: The performance of the solar light will vary with the time of year. It will deliver more light when it has had a full day in the sun rather than a day in overcast weather. WINTER TIME TIPS: Keep snow and debris cleaned off the solar panels so the batteries can recharge. If the lights are covered with snow for an extended period of time, after the snow melts, allow all the batteries to charge in full, direct sunlight for at least 6 hours to their maximum capacity. WARNING: Please keep out of reach of children.
