FIT yoga is a beginner to advanced class for participants not comfortable with hot yoga & or need options to choose for their protection & safety. Hatha & Namaste, soma yoga & structural integration are taught. These methods assists in limbering up all joints, improving oxygen levels with conscious breathing techniques, releasing tension in muscles with a variety of yoga asanas sequences. This class is progressive with many options to choose from making this class specific to your challenging needs. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
In the event of a cancellation 5 days prior to the start of the program, there will be a 25% service charge for each session canceled. No refunds will be made after the start of the program, for any reason. A credit will be issued for future programs if a participant has an accident or injury during a class. No refunds will be given if a person leaves a class for their own desire.
Warrior I (Virabhadrasna I). This pose is perfect for the pioneering and champion-spirited Arien, reflecting the energy of the hero who conquers adversaries. Stand tall at the front of your mat with your hands on your hips. Step your left foot back about three feet (1 meter) line up your heels. Rotate the toes of your left foot out about 45 degrees. Your pelvis should remain parallel to the front of your mat. Lift your arms straight up over your head without scrunching your shoulders, and then bend your right knee so it is in line with your right ankle. Hold for up to sixty seconds, step feet together and repeat on the other side.
